Geoff Meyerson

Geoff Meyerson is CEO and Co-Founder of Locust Walk, a global investment bank dedicated to advancing and financing innovation in the life sciences. With a distinguished background in investment banking, venture capital, and strategic licensing, Geoff has played a pivotal role in closing over 60 diverse transactions, including many of Locust Walk’s most significant deals.

Before founding Locust Walk, Geoff honed his expertise across the biotech ecosystem—working in business development at a venture-backed biotech firm, contributing in venture capital at SR One, leading business development at MedImmune, and launching his career in UBS’ Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group.

His academic credentials bolster his industry insight: Geoff holds an MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School, a Master’s in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Economics from Duke University.

Outside of Locust Walk, Geoff cultivates professional networks and thought leadership:

  • He is the Founder and President of BioBreak, an exclusive relationship-building organization for life science professionals.
  • Geoff is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (New England Chapter), serves on the Board of Overseers for Beth Israel Lahey Health, and has previously served on the board of the Wharton Health Care Management Alumni Association.
  • In recognition of his leadership, he was named to Wharton Magazine’s “40 Under 40” and the Philadelphia Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” lists in 2017 and 2010, respectively.

In addition, Geoff is a registered representative with FINRA, holding Series 79, 63, 24, 86, and 87 licenses.
